“I’ve read all of this author’s mysteries and this one is my favorite! They’re all good, but they just keep getting better and better. I think part of it is getting to know the characters more with each book and watching the way Amelia and her partner, Rick, work together. The mystery element was great! It moved along at a good pace and just when I thought I had it figured out at the end, a few twists were thrown in and I was at a loss once again.” —Katie Watkins, Katies Clean Book Collection

“Colorado, the land of the Rocky Mountains!” When Amelia and Rick arrive in Colorado, they see some gorgeous sights. Here are a few places they visited.

Mysterious DollVisit Colorado and find out why Sam took off without telling a soul. Will you be able to figure out who stole the porcelain doll and why?

Here’s a bit of trivia: The hauntings at the Stanley Hotel that had been reported were supposedly true. My husband, my daughter Serena, and I stayed there over night and it was a delightful place, but we never heard any ghosts playing in the halls or heard the piano play on its own accord. Although, I definitely heard the piano play! Serena sat down and played some beautiful pieces on that piano for a small audience. She can now boast that she played on the same piano as John Phillip Sousa.
